You know, I just want to tell you guys that you have a great site and a great store. Your prices are excellent and you web store cool and efficient. And how quick you get stuff to me, way over here, is amazing. And your stock - wow! Perhaps because you're Dutch, and I used to be Dutch - there's some wonderful kind of connection. I don't know, but i sure am happy with you all.

2006 digitally remastered reissue. Regardless of the label this is on it still stands as one of the best punkrock albums of all time, a cool crossover of the biting punk of the previous two albums and the strong folk influence that found it's way into the New Model Army's songwriting style. It also shows a deal of maturity over the two unrefined, older brethren. Songs like 'The Hunt' and 'Master Race' show that same bitter, vengeful attitude that powered the two previous albums. Biting, angered and disgusted the band pours forth it's invective over a solid attack of strong rhythms, melodic basslines and shrill guitars. Always musically intriguing and to the point and always demanding a response, this album clocks in at a short 35 minutes which is still plenty of time for scathing attacks, discontent, laments and disillusionment. The punk anthem of '51st State' shows the kind of simplicity that the band can make so striking. Simple threeâ??chord acoustic verses and an electric tinged chorus lets out disgust at the relegation of Britain to nothing more than the America's lapdog. 'Western Dream' takes a palmâ??muted guitar riff and a pushing rhythm section and shouts out a tale of audience satisfaction at forceâ??fed dreams of success and the bitterness of failure. 'Lovesongs' goes back to the tribal approach to drumming and the acoustic melodies whilst delivering a lament at the discontent in loneliness.
