Long unavailable debut PT album now remastered and repackaged in a beautiful fold out digipack. On the Sunday of Life was recorded by Steven Wilson solo and originally released as a double LP. Lo-Fi by current PT standards, this is an album of future possibilities including everything from psychedelic pop to ambient interludes. The seeds of the future PT sound are also in evidence in tracks such as It Will Rain for a Million Years and the classic Radioactive Toy. This is an extremely eclectic mix of musical styles, but that is not a drawback. On the contrary, that is what makes PT such an amazing band -- each song sounds so completely different, yet all of them are fantastic. For a first release, this is an impressive slice of phantasmagorical psychedelia.
